What is Digital Inclusion Week?
Digital Inclusion Week DIW is an annual week of awareness, recognition, and celebration of digital equity. This year’s theme is Stronger Together: Mobilizing Towards Sustainability.
With support from the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA), COABE and other organizations and individuals across the country host special events and campaigns to promote digital inclusion awareness and increase digital equity in their communities.
The five elements of Digital Inclusion are:
Affordable, robust broadband internet service;
Internet-enabled devices that meet the user's needs;
Access to digital literacy training;
Quality technical support;
Applications and online content designed to enable and encourage self-sufficiency, participation, and collaboration
We are calling all Students and Practitioners! Enter for a chance to win a $50 gift card! scaleLIT will have one drawing for students and one for providers who enter our Writing Contest: Tell us why DIGITAL LITERACY MATTERS to you in 25-50 words.
